My mask is a tradition upheld by my native human heritage and represents a sign of pride and modesty. I have grown used to it.
I see you’ve come back, Magus. My days have meandered uneventfully in these last days for Runeterra.
And as for the Void, it is no more a progress than it is a process of events that will catalyze when the time comes for it. It is interesting that you’d take an interest in it despite how irrelevant it is to your goals. Be it skepticism, caution, or pure curiosity, the might of the Void will befall Runeterra in due time.
I am a Seer to be exact. Prophet is a highly pretentious title claimed only by the most powerful Seers. My visions of the Void are the reasons why I have been referred to as the Prophet of the Void. It is often difficult to differentiate a real Prophet between the typical, charismatic madman, which is why it is hard for some to believe in the validity of some Seers.
And while there are many self-proclaimed Prophets in Valoran, my calamitous visions have been recognized, although with much skepticism, due to the otherworldly powers that the Void Walker and I possess. The existence of Kog’Maw and Cho’Gath have also further enforced the validity of my prophecy.
And yes, I do see visions of the future, although they are clearer in my dreams. As a Seer, you’ll often pick up and see the strings that draw the necessary catalysts together for the coming future events. You will also understand and observe people differently, because your perspective of them is not solely based on their past or present selves.
However, even though I possess a strong tie with Fate, it does not make any more sense than it does to those who do not have second Sight.
That isn’t to say that I’d expect you to believe everything I’ve said up to this point, summoner.
Prophet… how nice of you to follow me. I think…
"Your fate is of interest to me. I’ll be watching you."
if you are near to the dark
I will tell you ’bout the sun
you are here, no escape
from my visions of the world
you will cry all alone
but it does not mean a thing to me
the sun is in your eyes
the sun is in your ears
but you can’t see the sun
ever in the darkness
it does not much matter to me
(( Sudden strike of inspiration due to this song. ))
………..How dare you hex me into this unnatural form. Release this spell at once, Fae Sorceress!
(( Sorry for the weird mouse drawing. Tablet pen is missing. >_>; ))
Commission for chaotixfox.tumblr.com of Kitty Katarina and Shadow Prince Malzahar. ;v;
“…..SUMMONER. A WORD IF YOU WILL.”
(I REGRET NOTHING!
*An Ally has been slain!*)
(( Yes, I am reblogging this here since it is relevant. Because it is headcanon. Very subtle headcanon. Besides weakening Demacia, Noxus, and the League, why else did you think Malzahar gave you that information, Swain?
To ensure her safety in case any plans were made of course. Played on Swain’s ego so you wouldn’t notice. »; ))
ask-malzahar started following you
A nightmare of a world ablaze with ignite, of wounds that time can’t heal are passing through my mind…. What’s this ?
If you are trying to make a fool of me, I will not tolerate it, Starchild.
I’m not trying to make a fool of you, Prophet of the Void. The visions you can plant are adapted to the mind of each of your followers.
Malzahar turned to the Starchild, unhappy with this new revelation. He was not privy to share any of his visions with anyone, since it could be used against him.
“Followers? Are you talking about those from my cult or those in this ridiculous askblog I am required to maintain? No one has ever approached me on my visions, until you. How is this even possible?”
Commander, its is not the summoners that prevent us from dying but the nexuses. Even if you were to destroy both nexuses at the field, there are others outside of the battlefield that are linked to disable any real death among us Champions.
I wonder why would you share such knowledge with me, Prophet…~
Meaning that, if I…somehow….dispatched, of these “others” outside the fields, while destroying the enemy Nexus, and being unable to teleport back to our chambers, then they would truly die…?
Interesting…~ For this, you have my utmost gratitude~
Swain politely bows, a malevolous grin on his face, hidden beneath his scarf.
But I still have my doubts about why would you share such knowledge with me, Malzahar….
Malzahar folded his arms, a malicious grin forming behind his own mask as well.
"True tacticians are never what they seem at first or second glance. It seems you aren’t such a fool to remember that. And to answer your question, champions can die outside of the Fields of Justice. It is only within that the nexus’s magic is in play. "
The Void prophet then turned to leave, his yellow scarf billowing slightly at the movement and sudden change of direction.
"My goals are irrelevant to you, Commander. Now that you know what I know, my job here is complete."
